Hello wonderful people! Happy Sunday and welcome back to my blog. Today, I was feeling a rush of gratitude when I sat around reminiscing about the past few years of my life. So I wanted to take the time to thank each and every one of you who take the time out of your schedule to read my blog. Every time someone spots an outfit/accessory that I wear and exclaim that they’ve seen it on the blog or every time someone gives me any kind of feedback about the most recent blog post, my happiness knows no bounds 🙂 I’m so grateful to have met such amazing people in my life and I wish to meet a lot more through this blogging journey! So THANK YOU for motivating me to do what I love and I promise I will do my best 🙂
So in today’s blogpost, I wanted to share my outfits from a recent weekend trip to Lake Tahoe, plus a few tips if you’re planning to visit that area during Fall season.
Let me start off by telling you this – I’ve been to Lake Tahoe during Summer and Winter before and it’s safe to say that it is beautiful in every season of the year! Summer is the busiest season since it has a bunch of water sports and hiking trails that make for a perfect weekend getaway. If you’re looking to ski, Tahoe is the go to place during Winters. You can find a ski terrain to match any skill level and the snow capped mountains add to the beauty of this place.
We visited Tahoe in Fall hoping to catch some Fall colors (which are hard to come by in California) and we weren’t disappointed! We stopped at this place called Sorensens resort which had the most amazing Fall colors I’ve seen in Cali! We also had the chance to catch the famous Salmon Run in Taylor Creek where we literally saw hundreds of Bright red Salmons getting ready to spawn!

For the outfits, since we were well into Fall, I packed some warm clothes for the trip. On the first day, I wore a white sweater with a plaid skirt and threw in a light pink scarf. Since it was a bit chilly, I wore these Steve Madden Knee length boots with a pair of tights and OTK socks (Aldo has a great collection)
