Millennial pink

Happy Sunday lovely people! Today I’m going to talk about one of the most happening shades of the year – Millennial pink! Haven’t heard of that before? Let me enlighten you. Pink has been associated with young girls for a long time now, but it was only recently that all the major fashion giants took to this trend for women. As a result, we started seeing this color on the runway of all the famous fashion shows and eventually on the racks of every fashion outlet. It’s basically associated with any light shade of pink, starting from blush toned to peach-salmon hybrid.

When SB and I went shopping recently for her b’day, I wanted to pick something for her in this color. Since it’s kind of a neutral shade, you can wear it during any season of the year. So when I saw this mesh top with polka dots (BONUS!!) I knew it was the one! You can pair this with a mini skirt like we did in this post for summer/spring or add a pair of stockings and boots to this look for Californian Fall/Winter 😉 If you don’t already own a mesh top, I would definitely recommend you give it a try since it is universally flattering for all body types 🙂

We kept the accessories to minimum with this statement clutch and platform velvet oxfords, both from Aldo. The clutch debuted in this post from last year and it goes so well with both holiday outfits and casual brunch outfits like this one. These velvet oxfords have bold floral embroidery and is a perfect transition piece from warmer summer months. Now on to the pictures –
