Sunshine and Skort

Hello people! What’s up with y’all? My work has been crazyyy busy and I have been finding it so hard to balance home and work ๐Ÿ˜ These are the times when you realize how easy life was back in India! I so wish I had a pet genie that would do my laundry, dishes and conjure yummy Indian food whenever I wanted! Ok coming back to reality, when we planned a beach day amidst all this chaos, it was a welcome relief! I went to Carmel beach, CA which is one of my favorite beaches in the Bay Area! The stark white sand and the turquoise blue waters can instantly lighten up anyone’s life ๐Ÿ™‚

So for this particular beach day, I wore this Maxi Skort Romper that I got from F21 a while back. The weather was perfect, enough sun to show some skin and enough wind to flaunt the maxi skirt, so it was a win-win! Again, since I’m Dwarf material, the Maxi skirt was a little long and I had put a knot when I wanted to walk around the town to avoid some embaressing falls. But other than that, this is a perfect dress to wear for an evening stroll on the beach. Trust me when I say that your maxi skort is sure to turn some heads! ๐Ÿ˜‰

I paired the Romper with some cute gold accessories and my white espadrilles from my previous post. Oh and not to forget this super cute crossbody bag with applique flowers and faux pearls which added to the floral situation ๐Ÿ˜‰ Aand I went a little overboard and wore a hat which also had some floral accents. There’s no such thing as too much florals right? ๐Ÿ˜› I have linked the outfit details below as always ๐Ÿ™‚
