Fancy a maxi?

Hello peeps! Another Sunday calls for another blog post! 🙂 I hope Summer is going on well for you guys! I have been taking in all the Vitamin D as much as I can, as a result of which I’m now a personification of “50-shades-of-brown” 😀 I’m not complaining though, I’m throughly enjoying it. This  summer has also been my most experimental one, when it comes to my wardrobe collection. Would you believe me if I told you that I never got a full-length maxi dress because I thought I would look too short? So in today’s post, I decided to embrace-my-flaws and got this beautiful maxi dress with delicate floral and paisley print to play!

This dress was love at first sight, with it’s multitude of colors and the beautiful flare cut plus super affordable (<$30!) . I thought it might be too long to wear it without heels (I’m not a big fan as you can see from my posts, I like it flat and comfy :P) but it wasn’t (yayyy 😀 )! So it is short people friendly guys ❤ It has an elasticized waist and button down detail, so you can choose how much you want your leg to show. The sleeves have a puff detail which adds to the classy and vintage look of this dress! Overall, I loved the way it looked and felt and got a lot of compliments 🙂

The best part of this shoot was how the location complemented the colors in the dress so beautifully. It was taken in the same place as my pervious post, at Capitola beach! If you are in the bay area, you musttt visit this beauty! For the accessories, I went in with dusty rose lace-up sandals and matching sling bag (<$15).
