Hello lovelies! Welcome back to my blog! Hope your weekend was as colorful as mine 🙂 (‘Tis the Pride weekend after all! It ought to be!) I went to the Pride parade in San Francisco and love was literally in the air! It was such a great experience overall 🙂 So today’s blogpost is all about summer and I have some florals, pom poms, ruffles and a bonus – a bamboo picnic bag for you in this post! Can it get any better? 😉
I picked up this dress from Express when they had a store-wide sale on dresses and bagged it for $49 which I felt was totally worth for the quality and the amazing fit of the dress! It is a high-low maxi which has adjustable straps and a ruffle off shoulder sleeve. The dress hugs the body right above the waist which looks very flattering on all body types. I also saw a lot of really good maxis in Express for <$50 that are perfect for summer, so do check it out! I have also linked a couple more affordable dresses in the outfit section which are <$25!
Can we now talk about this amazing bamboo bag that is clearly stealing the show here? ❤ I fell in love with it the moment I saw this online and I had to buy it! It’s a summer staple and even though it might not really look practical, it actually is! You obviously can’t go shopping for an entire day with this bag, but if you are looking for something that is non-leather and is gonna get you a lot of compliments (Trust me on this!), I would say – go for it! It comes in a small and large version ( I have the large here) and in multiple colors too!
As for the other accessories, I chose this colorful pom pom hat to add a bit more summery feel to the overall ensemble and went with gold accessories. I also picked these espadrille sandals from F21 for $12 (Not kidding!) which complemented the outfit so well!
Dress – Express (Similar here, here and here)
Sandals – Forever21 ($12!)
Bag – Cult gaia
Gold cuff – Old (Similar here)
Chain – Forever21
Watch – Fossil
I’m so excited for the long weekend coming up which basically means you’re going to see more snow-capped mountains and beautiful lakes on the blog soon (I’m a sucker for nature if you guys haven’t figured that out yet 😉 ) So I’ll see you soon in my next post! Thanks for stopping by ❤
Until next time,
