Beating the Blues

Hello everyone! Hope summer is treating you well 🙂 It’s so warm here in Cali, so I’m super happy 😀 Aaand summer also means long weekends so I get to travel which is great for me and more travel posts which is great for you guys ( I guess? :P)

So moving on to today’s post, I got this Gingham top a while ago and wanted to shoot with it for a looong time now! When I first saw the top, I thought wow that looks just like a table cloth 😀 But on second thoughts, I realized that anyone could easily pull it off and it actually looks cute! There are a bunch of Gingham dress/pants/tops available in every store now and if you guys haven’t tried one yet, I hope this blog post inspires you to 🙂 Another thing that I loved about this top was that it had almost all the spring/summer trend in it – Off-shoulder, Gingham and Ruffles! Oh the ruffles are so gorgeous, that was the main reason I got this top! It looks so chic and fun and is under $20!

For the accessories, since the top had a wide neck, I paired it up with a bandana which adds more character to the overall look. I found these super cute clear heels which again is in trend and if you’re comfortable wearing high heels, I would definitely recommend it for the price (Under $20)! I will link a few others down with a shorter heel height if you prefer that!
